The Strength it Takes Recognizes National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month

Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) Suicide Prevention Skills Training with Christy Letsom
3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. People trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help.
Lunch scheduled at noon with FOOD TRUCKS in parking lot on-site.
Session: There is a Journey to Success, Lt. Deuntay Diggs
Diggs will share his inspiring story offering hope to those who struggle, and share his vision for communities safe from the tragedy of suicide.
Session: Promise, Progress, and Possibilities, Jerry Reed, PhD.
Dr. Reed will give us insight into how suicide prevention efforts are evolving nationally and how our agencies and communities will play key roles in the future of suicide reduction.
